I have an extreme dislike for Hootie and the Blowfish! Those guys need to "keep their mouths shut" about our honorable and wonderful Confederate flag. I love baseball, but I will not watch/support a baseball team that is named for those guys' band!

mmmmmm, sub-cabin. No I do not believe they reopened after the church expansion kicked them out of there location, man, that brings back memories. As a longtime Columbian with a taste of something unique, I went down to 5-points to treat my 3year old son to the fine Parthenon. Alas, I get to the door, and find a big empty building. This place has joined my other fav spots like the Downtown Sherlocks, El Manchaca on Beltline, Saki over near the Fort Jackson Gate, Scott Bros in the Vista....The list goes on....I am saddened as yet another restaurant has closed it's doors possibly forever. At least the German Gausthouse on Decker reopened as Julias near Devine Street.....Thank you for a Google search, I was really bummed.

I'm sure the current owner of the home can probably think of a lot more problems right now than a burned up yard. I heard from neighbors that there is some substantial structural damage.
